Tafi Revolutionizes 3D Character Creation with Text-to-3D Engine
Tafi, a leading 3D content and software company, has announced a groundbreaking text to 3D character engine that allows users to create 3D characters simply by typing in descriptions. This new technology promises to make 3D character creation easier and faster than ever before for artists, developers and creative professionals.
According to James Thornton, Tafi’s CEO, the text-to-3D engine is the culmination of the company's mission to simplify and make 3D creation more accessible. The technology leverages Tafi's vast 3D character dataset and foundation model that enables the generation of billions of 3D character variations.
The initial release of Tafi’s text-to-3D character engine will export 3D characters to popular 3D software applications like Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, 3ds Max, Maya and Cinema 4D. Future updates will include support for NVIDIA Omniverse.
Tafi has devised a method to credit and compensate artists who opt-in to have their work included in the character engine. Melbourne-based 3D artist Mada De Leeuw, who publishes with Daz 3D, supports Tafi's approach to protecting artists.
Tafi welcomes beta testers and enterprise users of its text-to-3D engine and invites interested parties to register now on their website.
